Forced Game Updates Crashing My Game Mid-Game

My game crashes mid-game with "Verify integrity of files", leaving me with no option other than to End Task on the game. When I attempt to re-open the game, Steam attempts a download and hangs on 0% until I restart my PC. When I log back in, Steam downloads an update and allows me to rejoin.

This has caused me to be temporarily banned a few times.

Try disabling XMP (Intel) or EXPO (AMD) in the BIOS/UEFI of the motherboard. The manufacturer may have named it differently, refer to their documentation. If this doesn't help, try reducing the frequency of the RAM in 500 or 1000 MHz increments, or however you are allowed to. If this still doesn't work, try updating the BIOS/UEFI. If nothing else works, replace the RAM.

I am going to need more information as to why you think my RAM is the issue here. My issue seems to be entirely related to game updates because it only happens when an update is pushed.

This issue has been described and resolved in the exact same manner previously, you can search around with the error message you received as well as the behavior described both by you and the thread you linked to.
