Files keep getting corrupted ever since the new update

This error keeps happening at random and forcing me to reinstall the game ever since the new update

Only verifying the integrity of the files doesn't work, it seems the files corrupt itself while downloading, I need to reinstall the game everytime to truly fix this issue

I've experimented using my SSD for many other things, downloading other heavy games and playing them on it and it all turns out fine, only Deadlock seems to be corrupting itself and/or my disk, the file that the path leads to seems to not even exist

Thread 'Game Crash on Joining Street Brawl Mode - fixed'

When I join the Street Brawl game mode (even with bots), I can see the patron for a few seconds and then the game crashes.

The crash shows the following fatal error:
file content game/citadel/pak01.vpk is corrupt

If I try to reconnect, the same crash happens again.

After the crash, Steam gets stuck at 0% while verifying game files and only continues after I restart Steam.

I have uploaded the .mdmp crash file from a failed attempt to join Street Brawl with bots.

Edit:
I can join and play normal mode completely fine. The issue only occurs in Street Brawl.

I have essentially the same issue. Everything works until I attempt to join Street Brawl mode, at that point, the game crashes and the files end up corrupted.

I solved my problem, it seems to not have been something with the game itself, but my SSD started corrupting files shortly after the update, but it was probably a coincidence, I've replaced the SSD now and have no more issues
