Failed to create party/queue - Error only when launching through Steam

Hello hello,

I'll try to be as thorough as possible.
When I launch deadlock through steam, wether it's through CMD with the appID or through the 'play' button in my library doesn't seem to matter. I cannot create a party or start queueing for a game because of the following error
"You are not currently signed in to Steam or the Deadlock Network is unable to determine your current connectivity to our servers"

When I try to look up the error in the console it says the following

"Cannot access SDR network. No ISteamHTTP."

Now after trying a lot of things I found that the solution was as simple as not using steam to start the game. I just go to the executable in my downloaded folder (through steam) and run it as an administrator. This solves all my issues.
So in case anyone else has this problem, try running the executable with admin privilages directly from windows explorer and it should work. if extra info needed lmk

even if I run it through steam and check elevated status in processes it does say it has elevated rights
