As I was editing a build, the match started, and I couldn't close the shop UI in any way. I had to shut down the game and restart it. The bug is mostly caused by the "Edit Build" and "Edit Category" textboxes not taking the Esc key as input to return to the main build editing window. The same thing applies to the Item Notes textbox as well.
Editing builds in the Hideout retains the shop UI once the game launches.
