Crash a game on startup after Patch old gods

When I launch the game, the "Valve" logo appears, and then the game crashes. Before the "Old gods" update, everything was fine. I noticed that none of me had such a problem, but no solution was found. Does anyone know what needs to be done to make the game run?

Have you tried turning off Discord Overlays? mine was caused by both settings (new / legacy)
