Currently, Counterspell protects against the damage from Walker Stomp for all characters except Shiv, who still receives bloodletting damage if his ability is unlocked.
Additionally, while Counterspell blocks the damage from Walker Stomp, it does not block the stun. This may be an intended interaction, but it feels inconsistent. Based on the ability’s description, I'd expect Counterspell to either block both the damage and stun, or neither.
(I hope that it's meant to stop the stun because that would make for some really cool walker dives.)
