controller not detecting after new update

I use a 8bitdo ultimate 2 controller and it was working very well until last week, today its very incosistent in detecting it.(ingame settings it detects but doesnt work), i had to restart my pc to detect it but next time it stopped detecting again. i tried with different games in steam and it is working fine. ALso wen u remap keyboard to controller with the official steam input settings ingame face buttons are always swapped like X in controller is Y ingame and vice versa, A in controller is B ingame and vice versa and no matter what i change it remains like that.
