So im fairly familiar with linux in general and i recently been trying out omarchy. Theres a bit of an issue -- one this game while really fun and in some sense addicting; your team mates dont know how new you are or whether youre on controller. I get that there isnt full support, but i think it would be helpful if your team mates could tell. I just got banned too probably because my KD reflected that but also because sometimes the distro does crash, and the game boots with a kind of hack because of hyperland. My main thing is-- controller works decent, but sometimes i have to manually 'learn' the ultimate , and upgrade abilites with the mouse pad/keyboard putting the controller down and reaching over to my laptop-- which
oddly enough is connected to the occasional crash. if the light goes out on my controller i know my laptop went down.
Again though, its silly to expect a controller player, at this early stage in the game to be doing as well as OG playtesters-- my teammates should know that so when i reconnect after the rare-ish crash their expectations that ill pull 20 kills late game on doorman are tempered. The game gets intense and peoples attitudes reflect that.
my team mates should know that at the very least im on controller and this is my second week playing-- and not have to get banned because i couldnt miraculously win the game for them
that being said if it were an interest to the developers-- i think full-controller support could work like just a small amount of magnetism not alot. Its important that your team mates know how youre playing and what to expect; Deadlock's way too intense and competitive for that not to be the case.
