Constant crashes. Top level is now idle hang type

So after christmas event i've been experiencing these random crashes, they happen randomly without any triggers. I might be afking in spawn or in a huge teamfight and it just freezes for a second and then crashes. I've tried everything from reinstalling all the drivers my pc has to verifying game files to even taking ramsticks off my pc

I've played the game for more than 400hrs with this issue and its starting to get frustrating. One day i might be able to play without any crashes and the other i might crash 3-7 times in one game. Lowering settings and resolution, closing every single app on the background and disabling overlays has helped abit(atleast it feels like crashes happen more rarely). I never experience any fps drops or other stutters/freezes. Game runs around 144fps stable and i've been constantly monitoring the state of gpu, cpu & memory and never noticed any throttling or temperature issues.

I have Ryzen 5 5600X and 1070ti with 16gb 2400 MHz ram. I acknowledge the fact that i have slow rams and they might be the reason for this but i really hope its not and its on the software side.

If there is anyone with similar problem i hope we will find a fix for ts cuz its annoying to literally lose games solo because of constant crashing

This is also happening to me. I installed the game last night and can't seem to play for more than 15 or 20 mins without crashing to desktop. Today I had some moments of freezing as well (being frozen in spawn and unable to move but I can hear everything around me, or the game freezing mid boss fights, etc. It doesn't necessarily cause a crash when this happens). I also had a "cloud data error" popup on one of my crashes to desktop. I fixed each freeze by disconnecting and reconnecting to the match. When my game crashes I restart the game and reconnect.

I've turned all settings to low, tried different upscaling options, reduced my resolution, limited my framerate, turned off cloud sync, and verified my game files with no results. It is really frustrating because I feel like I can't join non-bot matches without hurting my team. Now I'm wondering if this is a network related thing, but I'm on ethernet and my up/down speeds seem fine.

My last game ID was 73738478 . It wasn't the highest number of crashes I've had, but I had 2 crashes that game.

Device specs:
Intel(R) Core(TM) i9-14900K (3.20 GHz)
NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 Super
RAM 96.0 GB (95.8 GB usable) (yes, really)
Windows 11 Pro, version 25H2 (64 bit, x64 processor)
all drivers up to date.

I checked my event logs for my latest crash and will paste it here in case it's any help. The previous crash also faulted the materialsystem2.dll module.

ETA the match ID was 74462788, crashed at 7:41 PM PST if that helps.
ETA 4/13/26: The game seems to crash much more at night, and less to zero during the afternoon. It may be a network or server issue, because I assume afternoons are less busy. I am still connected to Ethernet and not having any other Internet or connection issues on other games. However, I realize it may be some error with my GPU too bc of the materialsystem error.
