I love to play Deadlock, but I'm so sick of it randomly crashing.
I got one of those little temp bans today because the game thought I had left. I did NOT leave, I crashed. Again.
I have absolutely no issues with any other game in my library. I play ARK, House Flipper, Elden Ring, etc. etc. And I haven't experienced any issues. I can even run multiple games at the same time.
No crashes.
But then I launch Deadlock and it, often, runs fine. For like two matches, sometimes, I have no issues. Then out of the blue, I get random freezes and crashes. Most of the time, I have to restart my PC just to fix the issue.
I have done it all:
Run Deadlock with no other applications running.
Watched my Task Manager while Deadlock is running. (randomly spikes to around 90% memory usage!)
No overlays active, Steam or Discord.
The same issue keeps happening. Deadlock slows to a crawl, crashes, and I have to restart to keep playing. But I'm upset this time because the game thought I was leaving and gave me like a ten minute or so ban from matchmaking.
My PC temps are even, no overclocking. No other crashes in any other game or during any other intensive processes.
This ONLY happens with Deadlock.
Processor 12th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-12700K (3.60 GHz)
Installed RAM 64.0 GB (63.7 GB usable)
System type 64-bit operating system, x64-based processor
Graphics Card AMD Radeon RX 7900 XT
(HD/SSD over 1 TB free on BOTH)
