Character select screen performance issue

Sitting on the character select screen for too long causes my machine to get crazy warm and the fans REALLY kick in. Not sure whats in that screen but thats what my machine sounds like mid teamfight with 6 ults going off. A menu screen taking that much processing is really weird.
