Thorne Illinois' Greatest Highwayman
Shoot ‘em - Trap ‘em - Rob ‘em
Goal: Try to create a foil character for Holliday that isn’t The Troubadour
Appearance: Thorne has a black bandana covering his face and is wearing a 10 gallon hat.
Weapon: Thorne has a 6 shooter style revolver; he holds that revolver in his right hand and has a dagger in his left.
Ability 1: Tumbling Dagger
Thorne throws a dagger that stops at the first enemy hit. The enemy takes a burst of spirit damage once. If the target is killed within 10 seconds of being hit by this ability then the dagger will drop to the ground. Thorne can walk over it to pick it up, refunding the ability’s cooldown.
Ability 2: Inside Man
Thorne sends a double of himself to a target location. When the double reaches the location it will fire 3 shots at the closest enemies in a cone in front of it dealing spirit damage. The double cannot be damaged, but it is possible to pass through it.
Ability 3: Lucky 6th
Passive: After landing 5 shots on enemies, Thorne’s 6th shot will deal additional weapon damage if it is a headshot or crit.
Ability 4: Hog Tie
Thorne targets an enemy hero in front of him. The target is tied up in a rope and is immobilized, silenced, and disarmed. The duration lasts for a long time, but damage from Thorne and his teammates will damage the ropes letting the target escape sooner. Additionally, an allied hero can heavy melee the target and the ropes will break, freeing them.
