Changing resolution makes the game unresponsive

Anytime I change the resolution the menu seems to lock up, usually i'd expect a confirmation about the resolution change.
Reloading the game starts it in the newly selected resolution.

Having the same issue, no matter what resolution I change to the game just freezes until i force close it. When I reopen it, it's in the new resolution.
