If you apply Celeste's mark via her 1 ability and then swap to another character and subsequently shoot the character you marked, it crashes the game. Crashes in both hideout and sandbox.

Likely thinks to try to apply the effects as if you are Celeste, does a false assertion which probably causes the game to crash due to devs wanting to explicitly catch for these cases.

I can also confirm this happens. I just popped Celeste's 1 ability mark on the Abrams dummy, switched to Ivy, shot him and presto, instant crash. Will test if it also happens in party hideout.

When I did it with my friend, it kicked both of us from the hideout without crashing the game. Said it failed to connect to the lobby. I applied the mark on him, then attacked him, and it did that. It's very funny lmao.

It literally shuts down the online server...

Wait... what if one could spam do that, to the point you take down the servers? This could be a serious exploit. Potential for exploiting how servers are generated.

Yes, but still - if people mod the game or inject code to trigger something like that, it can spell disaster. Or potentially when there is a character that can switch kits or force characters to switch kits.

You should not be crashing when there is no need.
