Hi There,
I've noticed that since the launch of Calico into the main matchmaking queue this year, at some point in later updates, her reload animation stopped being played and no longer works. Dynamo's new model/animations have a similar problem I've noticed.
To show what I mean, here's a video of Calico at release into the main matchmaking queue, notice her reload animation has her arm gun open up and animate, compared to the second video where it just steams up and doesn't do anything.
- Video from 5 months ago, with the reload animation still working. For a relatively good timestamp to see the animation, 5:03 - 5:05 into the video shows it well enough.
- Video from fairly recently, good showcase of the broken or changed animation is 0:20 to 0:23 notice how the effects still play, but the arm doesn't break apart, spin and fix.
Here's something similar for Dynamo:
A video from when the new version of Dynamo's model and animations was released, good example is at 0:28 to 0:31 as you can see a bolt comes off and dynamo then puts it back into the gun using his gravity abilities or whatever the best term is.
A video from two weeks ago, notice at around 1:19 to 1:22 how the gun's animation doesn't play at all. Just has Dynamo moving his hands around.
Was this an intentional change or an oversight/bug that happened at some point and hasn't been addressed?
Just seems strange to change a pretty cool looking animation to something similar but with less details.
Thanks!
