I wanted to test the interraction between Armor Piercing Rounds and bullet shred items on targets with high bullet resist (the Bebop in the screenshots below has 60% bullet resist). I assumed that the interraction would be:
Armor Piercing Rounds procs on a bullet, target has 0 bullet resist for that shot-> apply additional bullet resist shred -> Target takes damage as if they had negative bullet resist.
But strangely, buying bullet resist shred with Armor Piercing Rounds will decrease the damage of bullets that proc Armor Piercing Rounds.
In my testing as warden with Armor Piercing Rounds + Cultist sacrifice (for equal gun damage values), when firing at a Bebop with 60% bullet resist, a bullet that procced Armor Piercing Rounds did 43 damage, and a non proc bullet did 17 damage. When replacing Cultist sacrifice for Hunters aura, a bullet proccing Armor Piercing Rounds 32 damage, while a nonproc bullet did 27 damage.
So applying bullet resist shred will decrease the damage of bullets that proc Armor Piercing rounds. I don't think this is intended, Yoshi Plz fix.
