While the total deferred damage is lower than normal, this seems to be due to the 25% Spirit Resist the item gives innately.
When comparing Spellbreaker to Spirit Resilience, the amount of deferred damage is identical (as shown in the two clips). So Spellbreaker becomes less effective when Shiv has Rage and/or upgrades Bloodletting to Tier 2.
