Did happen in a match but don't have PC at the moment so will post match ID and time as a comment later.
While blinded by a drifter ultimate (Eternal night) I could not see the Bebop ultimate (hyperbeam) when it was fired outside my visual range despite the fact I was being directly hit by it. Not sure this is a bug or a weird consequence of game design decisions but regardless felt very cheesey and unituitive (I feel like I should see the giant purple laser beam ripping my ankles and chest to shreads even if it's dark).
