Not asking for unban. I can wait one day.
However I am curious about how the ban system works. I have played 275 games of deadlock. I think during that time I got mad enough to leave 3 and took my penalty. Last night Spectrum had a planned outage that I was unaware of. It kicked me off the internet and I wake up this morning to a 1 day ban.
Is there no reset of consequence for good behavior over time? I may be misremembering here, but I think it's been over 50 games since I last left one out of anger, maybe even 100. The message became clear. This isn't league, don't leave games, we'll actually punish you. Fine, but legitimate things like this happen. And to some people they happen more often than others. What happens if I log back in tomorrow and the spring storms knock out my internet again?
Truly done leaving games on purpose, and the consequences for having internet trouble are 3-4x longer than any punishment I got for actual behavior. Feels like overkill. I feel like most true "leavers" are serial leavers. Maybe implement or touch up a system to bring the penalty back down to a reasonable level for the once in a blue moon disconnect?
