Silver, Venator and Warden in this match were a 3 stack who hadn't played in 6 months and were arcanist the last time they played. I assume some form of rank inflation has occured for the returning players but outwith that I don't understand how 3 arcanists and 3 low archons gave us a team rank of archon 4.

McGinnis didn't perform on a level to be expected, plus genuinely a comp/draft difference where the enemy team just had stronger heroes.

I’m curious if anyone else feels the same, because for me this happens almost every Friday.
During the week, matchmaking usually feels pretty normal.
Even when I lose, most games feel at least somewhat balanced, and usually people have a decent understanding of what they’re doing. Bad games happen, sure, but it’s relatively rare to get someone who is completely useless or looks like they barely understand the basics.
But once Friday/weekend hits, the quality of matches seems to drop hard.
Suddenly I start getting teammates who:
I’m Phantom 6, so I’m not expecting perfect games every time, but the difference between weekday matchmaking and weekend matchmaking feels way too noticeable to be just coincidence.
Does anyone else experience this too?
Is weekend matchmaking actually worse, or am I just losing my mind?

Matchmaking in this game is just horrendous.
I admit, I am terrible. I was initiate 1 to 2 before all this rank redistribution shenanigans. Now I've been put into Ritualist 6 - Emissary 1.
And this is a disaster. Complete disaster.
I don't know who thought that this was a good idea to design a matchmaker like this, but now I get around 5-6 loses in a row after a single win. All the time. Maybe once I get randomly carried.
And this matchmaking just refuses to rank me down.
After a win I am put into Emissary 1-3 lobbies where I can't do anything. I am just a creep. I get trashed. My team gets trashed. I get raged at. I lose the game.
Next game I get put into the Ritualist 5-6 lobby. I get trashed.
Next game I get into Ritualist 2-4 lobby. I get trashed.
Next game I get into Arcanist 6-ritualist 2 lobby. I usually also get trashed.
And then I am put into the Arcanist 4-5 lobby where I can finally do something, and maybe I get to win.
And after this win I get, again, put into an Emissary 1-3 lobby and the cycle starts again.
Why can't I rank down? Why does this cycle has to start all over again? Is matchmaking that stupid that it can't figure out that it just can't put me into lower lobbies after I lose and not rank me down? This has been going on for like 50 games now, and I am still Ritualist 6 - Emissary 1. I have like 40% win rate now. I should be at Arcanist, not Emissary. What is going on?
And it's not like I care about ranks, I don't. But the match quality is just terrible. After every single win I have to suffer through 4-6 absolute stomps to get 1 decent game.

Apollo and Seven died 11 or 12 times in laning phase. The other team deliberately stopped attacking the patron and started killing us in spawn to "make the game more fun".
The past 11 matches I've played have all been like this. I've lost 9 of them. It takes several minutes to queue each time, regardless of whether or not I'm solo or in a party. Last night my party gave up on searching for a match after a 7 minute queue.

This Haze player I was laned against very suspiciously had unloaded a full magazine of headshots on me in the first 3 minutes of fighting in our respective lane.
I decided to test it by crouching repeatedly, changing positions around cover, and moving as fast as I could. Every single time, this Haze player was emptying every bullet into my face even from significantly long range.. So I decided to watch the replay and my suspicions of aimbotting/cheating were confirmed. This cheating piece of trash didn't even have to look at me or Pocket to hit us both in the face. Even when denying souls.
I never thought I would encounter cheaters in Deadlock of all games since I figured Valve would be all over something like this. I hope you guys can punish this garbage. Thanks Valve.
