Bad Matchmaking Thread

I can't put on my finger whether this match is either bad drafting, bad rank arrangement or just plain midnight slump just hitting everyone on my team midway through.

66025690 okay match making is just trolling me at this point. I love this game. Please dont make me have to give it up because you are building a community of toxicity and stress by not improving matchmaking

Classic predictable lose game knew it min 5 cuz when I ganked mid both Apollo and Lash watched me die tank the tower damage meanwhile they clean up after I specifically died

I'm not going to bother to post with teammate lose spree crap its already there
4/6 enemies had 3+ winning spree opposite with teammates with losing spree

I came out of 13 losing spree brawl games and of course 3+ trash teammates died 6 times near lash specifically who only bait troll and refuses to do anything in teamfight only ult after 5 teammates are dead every single team fight
REM always stealing ally sinners they need to disable this please
Apollo with cleanup duty kill stealing playstyle

I was premade with Paradox and Rem.

I feel like 50% of the team wasn't really up to standard for an (average, i guess?) Archon 3 game. My estimate for the Haze, Geist and Drifter would be Arcanist at most.

Enemy Doorman was pretty strong but what really got us was Mirage and Viktor being allowed the luxury to gank by taking 2 of our walkers early.

The only communication me and my party got from the rest of the team was Haze calling us "idiots with down syndrome" in russian. After looking at the same Haze's profile, we saw that the last game she played was 5 months ago (November of 2025!). :-/

Definitely feels like the matchmaking algo is pretty imprecise at picking balanced teams of players. As far as I can tell, losing even 1 lane shows effects extremely fast especially with teammates that don't even bother with voice chat.

Its doing it on purpose
Imagine queing for 10 mins just to meet bunch of griefing animals because matchmakers knows which players are on recent winning sprees

The matchmaking since this update has been so fucking ass. Every single game my team has been like: 25/21/25/40/27/20 vs 60/61/40/50/60

Like why am I getting people who throw lane every single game? Why am I getting people who literally just installed the game 2 minutes ago in Oracle+ lobbies?

Every second game i play my team gets stomped. 50-80k Souls diff after 30 Minutes. I am key player in 90% of them but can't do anything about it.

Fully agree, the game is very unenjoyable to play at the moment. Matchmaking since the big influx has been awful, maybe because the pre-existing playerbase has now been squished into a much smaller rating band, and hence the matching is putting matches together that it thinks are close in skill but actually have a much bigger skill spread than the badges imply.
And since the most recent patch it has become exponentially worse, I don't know if something additio0nal changed with matchmaking, or if there is something balance-wise that amplifies the skill difference between the teams, but I haven't had a single close, enjoyable game (or heard from my friends that they played a close, enjoyable game) since this latest update.
I will not be playing for the foreseeable future until I hear reports that the experience of playing is once again fun.

Trying to introduce my friend to this game and we keep getting street brawl matches against obviously experienced players while the rest of our team is seemingly quite new to the game too, getting killed very early on, repeatedly, and the game gets pushed down. I'm wondering if there is some sort of punishment for introducing new players, it's a curious design. 66108524
