Bad Matchmaking Thread

Smurf accounts, saying slurs, can't even report anymore. Microcosm of how dogshit this games matchmaking has become. Hope the nobody thats checking this makes a change soon. Perhaps you can get the vague outline of an employee to make more mysterious and ineffective changes that inevitably make the whole system worse. Better yet, change nothing for the next 3 months and just hope it fixes itself when more characters are added! Keep it up guys

Valve literally does not care. They have never moderated any game they have made in the past 20+ years. You either accept that most matches will have cheaters and smurfs or you stop playing. Deadlock will be the same as every game they have made, cheaters and smurfs will go unpunished.

That's just standard for all Valve games. Valve's inaction on smurfs and cheaters has been the same for the past 20+ years.

1st Match (63265864): My teammates couldn't take it and abandoned the game.
2nd Match (63273903): Met the same 4-man stack again.

Enemy Haze: Kept using only melee (punches) to mock us.
Teammate Silver: Intentionally fed the enemy 17 times (0/17/5).

Sure, Valve, make a game so imbalanced that it's 4v6 and the 4 still win. The two smurfs on their team were completely reasonable to force people to play against. I sure do love repeatedly getting matched into completely unwinnable games.

In every game, I get newbies on my team even though I have way more playtime than they do. And even if they aren't new and have enough games played, their rank must be way lower than mine, because it's impossible to play when you're effectively outnumbered

this is the first page of a random guy who was on my team, this guy only feeds all the time, and magically he is put in a higher-ranking lobby every time, magic? no, it's this shitty matchmaking system. this game makes me gag after each game and makes me rethink my life

Enemies were on winning spree than my teammates
Losty Calico Winning spree exact opposite Ivy Losing spree for eg
Ivy did not understand basic MOBA terms or concepts or refuse to listen and keep making same mistakes
This game severely needs education on MOBA
Sure FPS is easier to teach but there needs to be at least basic tutorial on MOBA

Game was almost even skill fight as we dominated early to mid game but team had 0 idea what to do in late game they simply don't understand not to chase some bait low hp enemies keep on repeating the same mistake over and over again running around with no brain or plan
Not understanding enemy ultimate timer or they have it

Team had better team fighting skills higher Kills than enemies but atrocious initiate level MOBA skills compared to enemies exact opposite

Please disable ally rem from stealing team side sinners always losing 5% to 10% soul advantage like this they never listen they are always stealing team sinners

Use this thread to share matchids for games that you think the matchmaker did a bad job at. If you can explain what you felt was a problem in it that would be helpful as well.

Do not post matchids for games that were within the past 24 hours from this post. Games older than that are fine and games going forward are fine.

Yoshi please can you unranked me from Ritualist to Seeker. After the latest update, I ended up in a rank that doesn't reflect my skill level at all. Out of 32 matches, I’ve only won 7. This is because I’m constantly being matched against players who are way too strong. The game isn’t fun anymore. It’s just frustrating. Being the 'weak link' of the team every single time is a terrible experience.

Silver and Venator had absolutely no sense of when to engage or how to position, died constantly so we were always on the back foot; they should not have been in that game

Even the enemy pity tip me course lost rank for this unfair game

I swear every single time I have Apollo I go against AOE ult enemies like Dynamo, Seven, Bepop, Lash etc

Doorman always ulting to kill steal and bait stalling enemies
Haze afk jungle barely any contribution to objective 0 objective damage literally only afk jungle farming entire game
Mo and Krill straight up feed and play same as doorman only use ultimate when there are several multiple enemies and never solo left alone enemy
Wraith same thing as Mo and Krill

There needs to be MMR negation for losing team key player

Classic EOMM type of patterns enemies with clear positive recent win spree compared to my teammates
