Graves and Abrams were practically feeding the enemy. Its almost like they were new players with no game sense. Also the team kept trickling and charging into fights, where the entire enemy team was present and losing the fight because half our team was not present.

I did get over aggro at one point in the match, but tbh, it was a loss anyway with how hard those two were feeding... Their combined K/D was 6 - 24
 
Feels like every game there's 1-2 people going 0-10 or 0-20. Surely these people are not in the right games if they're performing so poorly. Doesn't matter when you are ahead when someone on the enemy team is 4x as ahead from clueless teammates. I get it, some people have bad games, but this is beyond being a little behind, it's just completely running it down.

Yeah this has basically been my matchmaking experience in a nutshell. It would be a different story if I could blame myself for being dog at the game, but 99% of the time its my team going 0 - 15 in the first 15 minutes of a match.

Game is becoming absolutely unbearable to play when you lose because morons on the team are basically throwing the game by feeding the enemy constantly.

bro its street brawls mostly- literally coinflip builds and full 4 stacks of friends playing what you expect?
Does the mode really matter, stacking losses is stacking losses isn't it? In that one screenshot that's an average win rate of 18% across 16 games (5 standard). I don't give much credit to the idea that I versed a 4 stack 9 out of 11 street brawl games, seems highly unlikely. Not to mention in a mode that's clearly casual how hard would it be to induce a win by altering team comps and boosting item selection to end the loss cycle.
Secondly regarding street brawls, and this was the case with standard matches too initially (and you can argue it's the limited hero pool but I don't accept that anymore) but a number of those street brawls are fueled losses where the opponents have a combination of Abrams, Silver and Lash which in my opinion are heavily dominant in Street Brawl.

Now if I eliminate street brawl and filter only to standard match, in a 28 game period from when I took that screenshot, I went through a 6 game losing streak, a 5 game losing streak and a 4 game losing streak, with a couple of losses sprinkled between it was 19 losses in 28 games - that was leading up to this horrendous street brawl run.

And one other thing around this time, in an 8-game window, I lost 6 and won 2 games, 1 that I won (Archon II team - Archon V opponents) we won with me being MVP (76k damage) with a 24k soul gap between myself and second on my team, 20 kills - 4 deaths, 85k player damage (35k higher than second place, and 44k higher than 3rd) and 31k objective damage. I had Bebop on my team go 1-16 and a Dynamo go 1-13. I literally had to talk an Apollo on my team into letting go of his anger from early deaths and engaging to win. This level of performance is what was required for me to steal a win amongst a multitude of losses.

Yes I was annoyed when I posted this, but having a win rate ranging between 18-30% while statistically performing to the capacity of 2 team mates is frustrating, and if I can't go into Street Brawl to blow off steam and have a casual win then there's not much point in playing.

Honestly coming from games like Apex Legends I can relate and already from my limited experience in Deadlock confirm that worst experience comes from games like described = first <5 min someone with no brain and fragile ego just feeds the lane and then it is mostly matter of is the game going to end in 10, 15 or 25 min.

Unfortunately that is a problem of a community! not matchmaking!

If you would look at Apex Legends there is a similar / same situation with 50% or really close to that "hot dropping" = major risk, basically no reward 99% of a time, and game for you as soloq player is done in <5 min or you are forced to camp for 15+. And it has been like that for like 5? years now. EA tried to fix it by introducing drop system such that eliminates possibility of hotdropping -> all those nubs revolted -> they reverted the change saying that it drove too many people away from the game aka better have total shitshow of a game with more players vs quality gaming with fewer = business baby.

Same can be said about Deadlock - people are just not suitable for TEAM COMPETITIVE game and the RIGHT way to play it till very very high level, in comparison to Apex I would say that level is like 95% of people are incompatible. 95% come to be MJ of the game aka solo carry, get all the kills, be the superstar, feed the ego with enemies and teammates suffering. Noone is proud about cool combo or strategy, everyone is flexing stats like kills, damage, kd.

Will Valve force such players into hardstuck shit rank like Riot does with Valorant aka <gold rank elo hell known to everyone ever touching Valorant? That is to be seen.

Currently Ranked and Matchmaking is just random testing I would assume and the fact that community is not ready to play the game the right way instead trashtalk others -> report -> get people muted -> discourage mic usage at all is the current state of the game.

Should i even post these anymore? Does anyone even check this? I feel like the matchmaking has gotten worse and worse and nothing is getting done. I know they're aware of it but whats the point of posting these anymore? No one checks this this thread, this data is going nowhere, it going to be like 3 months before they even bother doing something about this problem at this point. 584 pages of complaints is absurd and I think it really speaks for itself. I just hope this is resolved soon because its really killing my enjoyment for this game. I've had so may extremely toxic people as well and can't even report them because i keep getting report banned for this exact problem. I have never once seen another game that report bans players. I truly believe that this feedback goes nowhere at this point. There's only so many times i can be told a game is in alpha before i lose faith this is an issue that will ever be resolved.

62567576 - Celeste , Holliday smurfs 16/0/27 11/3/19 and my 1/13/5 and 2/12/3 and the most funny thing i demoted after this game. I had 7 winstrick 5-6 of them mvp's and not promoted and after this lose with worst players in this game i demoted ....1772205950431.png
 
I have no idea what was done with matchmaking in past 3 days, but it's much better. I actually play in my own rank, and people are even speaking! This is amazing!

admittedly i'm not sure if this was bad matchmaking or just warden being comically overtuned, it does feel like every time i play vs a warden he ruins the entire match singlehandedly now

I asked the players what their rank was at the end, the Apollo(our best player) said he was an alchemist, the Vyper said they were in archon. I'm in arcanist, I have no idea what the Haze was but I really doubt she belonged in our match. Ultimately a really confusing mess of a match with a bunch of people who I don't think should have been playing together.

Two matches later I got another really poorly matched game where I really don't think we were facing opponents we should have

No idea what anyone's ranks were in this match, but it was such a strong stomp that my lane had walker by minute 6. Given that other lanes were similarly one sided, I feel this was another really poorly matched game

The "Skill Rating" Valve provides can be extremely misleading, considering how much it has been fluctuating within past seven (7) days:
Me personally had been "deemed" as Emissary-2 by Valve;
as of posting this, I've been plummeted to Arcanist-5
(EDIT: And now suddenly I am supposedly a Ritualist-2 despite being still being on the same losing streak of six (6) matches).

Not that this all matters much, since even when I was supposed an Iniate-1 according to Valve, I was being matched into Ritualist-matches.


Leading to this:
Rather than needing to ask the Valve Skill Rating of other players, it's better to simply use the raw data and estimate their "true"-rank that way.

We fortunately do still have tools for this, even if Valve has been limiting gathering the match-details even_
Can only fetch less than fifty (50) spectator / not-personally-participated matches before the "Citadel_MatchDetails_RateLimited" gets triggered for "little while"
( which is at minimum three (6-)hours after which I gave up on the measuring
which in my case means I cannot access any non-personal matches anymore due to my account being flagged as a "crawler bot" ).

*Edit* Confirmed using Tracklock. The guy who went 1 - 8 is an Arcanist 5 in a match with Archon 1 (Me) WTF Valve, that is a +10 rank differential.

I just dropped out of Archon into Emissary because I kept getting matches like this.

Team plays like they have no functioning brain. Trickles into teamfights, making em a series of 1v6s for the enemy and then they still think we have a chance at victory with a 60k souls differential when they're already playing like Initiates.
 
I finally played some normal games after weeks of street brawl, and the games have been nothing short of extreme misery. Teams are incredibly unbalanced, games are basically over at the 20 minute mark, but go on to be 45+ minute slogs.

Our 4/14 Apollo only had 58 games played!!! And our 5/15 rem only had 330. I rarely ever see deaths this high in Ascendant lobbies, but I'm not even sure those exist anymore. Every lobby I'm in has people who very clearly should not be playing in Ascendant. Our Rem spent the entire game getting caught out like they've never played a MOBA before.

Or, worse yet, I'm getting smurfs games where they just dominate the entire lobby.

The Vindicta here has <200 games, Drifter with <150!! 40k soul difference by the end, extremely unfun game.

No idea what they're doing behind the scenes, but its not working. I'm going back to street brawl until they un-fuck this mess.

I don t think you got unbalanced matches as they have well enough lp for the matches, it s more like they tried a new hero or under performing hero for the match rank. Unlucky.
