I'm losing almost all of my matches and keep ranking up!! I'm Emissary 4, I don't belong here. Even after my losses, the rank stays the same or GOES UP! Before the major update I was Seeker 6. Sorry you experienced this. It can be explained by simple rank math. You are losing games with same hero but winning with same hero. So you losing one is gonna pull you down 1 and you winning one is gonna pull you up 2. By math -1 +2= 1. So you go up a bracket each time

Matching a premade stack against solo players is fundamentally broken. I’m not even sure if it’s right to say we got 'violated,' but that’s how unfair it felt. With so few players on the Asia server, we just keep getting fed to these stacks, and it's a never-ending vicious cycle.

There is a command that you can input in prompt (f7) each time before matches or in you steam launching game settings so you will be put in solo queues. This is the legacy true competitive experience.

12 games in a row where the other team is clearly better than ours. i haven't dropped rank at all. why? my hypotheses is there's a bug where people are getting into oracle 1 and then not dropping rank. this is filling this rank with people who shouldn't be there, and resulting in constant bad matchups. there has to be a bug somewhere because the game wasn't like this before a month ago.

So I have been repeatedly losing games badly and gaining rank for it. Before the big matchmaking update I was around low Seeker, but nowadays I'm Ritualist 6? I know the ranks are pointless but I am getting stomped and should not be this high. I play with some people who are much higher rank than me fairly often but it shouldn't affect my rank that much? I put a couple of my replays in but genuinely the matchmaking was better before the big rank update. My win-rate is noticeably higher in Street Brawl (still not good though) but if that's pushing my rank up I think thats really dumb and should probably be changed. Does this command still work? I see other posts saying the command is broken, showing them in a solo team but then a 4 stack against them.

Description of the issue:
This match clearly demonstrates a significant flaw in the current matchmaking system regarding team composition and damage type balance.

Extreme Damage Type Imbalance:
Our team (Venator, Wraith, Drifter, etc.) was composed almost entirely of physical/weapon damage dealers. Because we lacked any meaningful Spirit (magic) damage, four players on the enemy team were able to easily counter our entire lineup by purchasing Metal Skin. This made the game feel unwinnable regardless of individual skill.

Role Mismatch:
The matchmaker paired Rem and Dynamo (supports) against Bebop and Paige. While our supports played their roles, the enemy Bebop was allowed to scale into a massive carry, dealing over 73k damage.

Conclusion:
The enemy team had a healthy balance of Weapon and Spirit damage, making them very difficult to itemize against. In contrast, our team was forced into a single damage type from the draft, creating a massive disadvantage from the very start. I don't believe a match with such a fundamental composition gap should be considered "balanced" by the system.
