Before starting a match, press F7 to open your console and type the following command before pressing enter, mm_prefer_solo_only true

While I'm honored to play with and against Eternus players (finally), perhaps the shift from just getting to Ascendant I to an Eternus lobby was a tad bit too much for me and I was the worst player on the team (unsurprisingly).

Over 80k soul difference, match lasted about 20min and was an utter stomp where enemy team won. No clue as to what even could have needed to be done to change the outcome. Just dire to play.

Enemy team was playing normally as they rank is assigned to them but my whole team was or intentionally feeding or they are from initiate because what they were doing was illegal, my bebop was 0/6/0 in 9 minute, and he had a really good matchup lane, but he was just all time going under turret and dying, same goes for rest of the team except paradox and haze (me) that were dying all because enemy was so fed, i really want to know how to see my team ranks but they have something like initiate or just they have their account bought tbh

This is the last game I played. I'm Archon VI (former Oracle thanks to matchmaker) when average team rank is Emissary V.
Here is my match history (almost in every match I play with low rank players that have no clue what they are doing):

I think players like us are going to have to wait for them to reset all ranks or for the full game to release. The match maker just isn't a priority for them right now. Game is unplayable and deeply unfun since we just get stomped every match.
I've seen a ton of new players express this sentiment? imagine all of the new people who didn't care to leave feedback about it (99.99%) surely it's a priority if they are just bleeding all of these new players. Like I'm literally just gonna sit and wait until they say something about matchmaking so I can finally play, but by then everyone who came to try it already left. crazy fumble by valve

Been saying this for two years. Everyone in discord and the Fanboys all scream that you're dumb to think Deadlock would fail because of MM. And it will if they do not do anything to fix it and deal with smurfs and cheaters.
They could at the very least explain how MM works, ranks work, team comp works, and the rest of the stuff involved. Maybe, the burning question and most important - why haven't they done anything to try to fix it. Is the goal to still collect data to build a better MM for launch? They can fix nothing, but just actually explain it to the players and save a bunch of grief.

Ever since the last major update the matchmaking has been much worse, i have been getting clueless teamates and enemies more often in my games. this was not the case before.

Match didn't count because someone didn't connect, but I don't think a 5-stack of Eternus players (some who admitted to smurfing on the streamers stream) vs solo Ascendant II players is a fair matchmaking.

It is incredibly frustrating to deal with AFK players in this game. To begin with, the matchmaking in this match was terrible, but beyond what is already typical, my team didn’t have just one AFK player, but two. The game practically started with players missing, we lost a tower in less than five minutes, and on top of that, McGinnis seemed to be playing in a match that clearly did not match his elo, or was outright trolling. It is not normal for someone to finish 0–8–0 and then go AFK.
The question is obvious: why is there no remake system for situations like this? Players are forced to play every match in ranked, yet those who actually want to improve their elo are also forced to stay in clearly unfair matches, with double AFKs and extremely poor matchmaking.
Hopefully these systems will be improved when the game is fully released, because putting up with AFKs in an inherently competitive game completely kills the motivation to improve and keep learning.

Never gonna happen. Don't wait for it. It just don't. Dota 2 is released more than 10 years ago and got zero rank resets. Just to compare.
