Bad Matchmaking Thread

I can't get out of low matchmaking. First, I was told I needed to win 3 matches. I won, but I was directed back to low matchmaking. I needed to win 5 matches. I won, but now I need to win 8 matches again. I'm trying to keep up with the updates.

I had to make alt because of the bs matchmaking, games and players I meet so I conclude it to be shadow banned

Use this thread to share matchids for games that you think the matchmaker did a bad job at. If you can explain what you felt was a problem in it that would be helpful as well.

Do not post matchids for games that were within the past 24 hours from this post. Games older than that are fine and games going forward are fine.

Almost 250 hours onto this game and im still queueing up with people that opened the game for the third time ever.

i was playing with some friends who also had a good amount of hours poured into deadlock

Just a total stomp, which is surprising given the apparent "average ranks" of each team, but obviously that still doesn't really mean anything. I think a big issue is switching lanes before the game starts which "unbalances" the lanes. Lash died three times while laning, and I died a few times while trying to hold it down. Couldn't really set up and just ended up waiting to spawn for the whole match because I would always die while trying to defend a walker or farming.

I was excited to see what changes were done to the matchmaker in this "major update", but apparently nothing has changed. So disappointing to only see new graphics and no matchmaking changes but whatever, I don't think anything will change since this thread is so goddamn long with apparently zero input. I suspect it's just a way to let people vent the annoyance of a shitty match so you can attempt to keep the numbers up.

Patch in general has been really terrible for me matchmaking wise, I've won one regular game since the patch and it was one where everyone left. most of the games have been complete rolls, including all the street brawls I have played, in which two I won, right after the patch released, two steam rolls. This match in particular felt really awful, one completely new player, did not feel at all like I or my team mates could do anything. I really enjoy the patch, but its extremely hard to feel motivated to play when I feel like it's impossible to win.

This match was also pretty bad, I felt like I was much better than the rest of my team but the enemy team was much better than any of us. Felt like the last match I had a shot at winning since the patch released which doesn't feel great.

ive reported so many smurfs that im suspended from reporting. so here we go a huge list of match ID's that I think are issues.

You need to understand that Valve does not care. They earn billions of dollars of profit every year. They only use bots and volunteers to moderate the official discord. That's how cheap they are in regards to moderation.

Valve does not punish smurfs. Valve does not have good anticheat in any game they have ever made. Valve does not moderate any game they have ever made. They simply do not care.

bless you @Yoshi with yet another dogshit game. you really keep giving me absolute dogshit teammates that throw the game and throw out slurs and you don't do anything. 7L 2W in your new patch. I have posted all the screenshots of me when i lose and everytime there is always a problem. in those 2Ws, there is actually a fight. these 7Ls you give me are just idiots playing and does your team not taking these actions seriously? because if not then you guys are like racist for letting racists play around. what is the use of this forum if you're not gonna acknowledge and fix?

But somehow I am together with players stating "I recently started playing, sry" in a lobby.

It's fine for new players to start, but why am I not matched with players who have a similiar match count / hours played like me, as a start.
