Bad Matchmaking Thread

Had an entire lane on our team going 0-7 and 0-9 for most of the game. One of them ended at 0-11-3, and the other at 3-10-1.
They probably should not have been up at this rank given how egregious the scoreboard became for them. This seems like a very outsized problem for the matchmaking, and given how this game can snowball so hard, it makes the match experience significantly worse for everyone else on their team.

Previously, teams were formed like this: in one team there was 1 very strong player, in the other all levels were more or less. Now the ENTIRE TEAM is formed from such players!!! Are you developers kidding??? When will there be balance in mathmaking? Like everyday you got 1 page on this topic from the start of the year! When we see some changes???

These teams aren't balanced in any fucking universe. One team knows what farming is and abuses gun viscous's downright exploit level damage and of course my team can't do shit aside from Kelvin and me taking actual objectives. Either make mm more strict or make it so that comeback mechanics are better and a casual soul diff is not ruining the game. Also what the fuck how can you look at this NOW EXTREMELY POPULAR viscous build and think "yeah, his gun is properly tuned for the kind of character he is." while Haze still has an absurdly weak gun. Bebop here is also doing ludicrous damage despite dying a ton and not getting very many stacks. It feels like 2024 deadlock. What happened under the hood this patch?

Why have you guys not done anything about the garbage matchmaking? It seriously undermines the latest content patch. My latest standard match of deadlock was just a stomp with the other team favored. Why continue to have a ranked mode if the matchmaking is going to be this bad? The Pocket on my team said they they were learning to play their character, meanwhile I have over 500 games on Abrams. Why am I matched with them? In ANY other game this wouldn't happen, but it seems to me you guys aren't doing anything about it. Theres no surrender option, or anything like that. I'm just forced to play 30-40 mins of not fun, unbalanced matches.

Every game since just a few days before the patch have been an average team rank way lower than mine. Im Oracle 6 and im consistently getting Emmisary 4 - Archon 3 matches. In December matchmaking would give me matches that lined up within 1-2 ranks of my own but its suddenly not the case anymore.

same guys named ABL (changes his nickname everyday) cheating so hard. Everyone on the team reports him every game but he still manages to get in my game why dont he get banned or matchmaked for low prio?? Eternus-ascendant lobbies btw.

I had just gotten back into deadlock again after a few months break. and been grinding constantly, but every single match I've been in has either been one sided for me or for the enemy team or its a straight up no diff game with one player becoming server admin stomping the lobby. it's been this way for a long time and it's making it hard to enjoy or even play the game without being demolished into paste by these people. Currently I am ritualist but I was Alchemist even when I was initiate and Seeker the match making was and is still Awful. Please for the love of god fix the matchmaking.

Same cheater got in my game again so i had to dodge the game. He is still playing with no shame no bans or anything why not any action taken?

I'm impressed this is the lowest hr account player to be under such list how is that possible and for game not to detect anything have these devs not learnt anything from dota 2

I think only invicta and infernus were playing the game but they were worse than the enemies with low kill count and action per minute less ability casting per minute than enemies

I couldn't stun even with curse when he was doing the ult

So do players need to make entire dedicated application like dota plus overwolf just to know when matchmaking is fucking you over or not with shared block list since the devs decided to do this bs
The only reason I think I got this is because of my report ban because of the same issues

I had to make alt because of the bs matchmaking, games and players I meet so I conclude it to be shadow banned

Almost 250 hours onto this game and im still queueing up with people that opened the game for the third time ever.
i was playing with some friends who also had a good amount of hours poured into deadlock

Just a total stomp, which is surprising given the apparent "average ranks" of each team, but obviously that still doesn't really mean anything. I think a big issue is switching lanes before the game starts which "unbalances" the lanes. Lash died three times while laning, and I died a few times while trying to hold it down. Couldn't really set up and just ended up waiting to spawn for the whole match because I would always die while trying to defend a walker or farming.
I was excited to see what changes were done to the matchmaker in this "major update", but apparently nothing has changed. So disappointing to only see new graphics and no matchmaking changes but whatever, I don't think anything will change since this thread is so goddamn long with apparently zero input. I suspect it's just a way to let people vent the annoyance of a shitty match so you can attempt to keep the numbers up.
wait that would actually make some sense, because i got report ban yesterday and since yesterday i have the most abysmal teams since i started playing way backl. like wtf is that even
