Can we, please, fix matchmaking? It's crazy how someone can play only 7 matches of Deadlock and be put straight into Oracle V.

7? most of my teammates have played like 2 and are already in ascendant
why is there not a cap on new players. New players should have to play like 200-300 games all together before they can play with vets so they can learn and actually enjoy the game.

Because of smurf accounts. Instead of punishing smurfs, Valve prefers to let them ruin dozens of matches per account, then they make a new account and go again.

I'm in oracle half of my teammates said that it was their first time playing their heroes and that they were ranked archon. I don't understand how this was even a fair matchup, our team got 3 kills total and was over 60k souls behind in the end at around 25 minutes. The matchmaking or ranked system needs to be fixed. My last 10ish games have been similar to this as well, where it wasn't necessarily a stomp, but I get put into emissary games as an oracle with my top 5 most played heroes. It just doesn't make sense.

clear example of how smurfs ruin this game, if even a single of those uninitiated ranks is a smurf, its over, game can be thrown in the bin, everyone can go afk while the fat kid with invincibility shield can shoot his infinite bullets of instant death until he gets bored. Sandbox smells of pee and cat shit.
Smurfing == cheating,
In some cases its even worse than that because cheaters will play at higher ranks and possibly against other cheaters, and sometimes cheaters can be punished hard by skilled players.
Meanwhile even a non cheating smurf will RUIN the game for 11 other players.

majority of my games has a smurf in them. I cant remember a day of just having some won or lost games of deadlock, no, its always some duo with a throwaway smurf in a party wreaking havoc on the matchmaker. Fucking wardens with 10 games total (if one can believe tracklock) going 20/0 like a train with no brakes. In case it wasnt clear, thats not fun and I play games to have fun.
I hope you are doing some data magic valve, I hope the "mains" of those who consistently party up with banned/smurfed accounts also get a ban.

I'm 1500hours in and maximum I reached is Emissary which didn't lasted for long when latest patch arrived because I kept having teammates that were playing the game for the first time. I'm stuck in low elo forever. Ranking up is a BIG FAT JOKE.

seems like this all the time. a couple people on the team do well and the rest have 10+ deaths or just basically dont exist all game. Or they seem so new that they build 4 items. This shouldnt ever happen in ascendant IV.

Not an individual match but I have been stomping my games with around a 75ish winrate (60 games, I think, are enough of a sample size). The ranks are a division above mine but I do not rank up consistently and when I lose I generally de-rank. This results in:
- Me ruining peoples matches.
- Unsatisfiying matches
- Me not playing against players of my own skill level and not seeing it.
I cannot believe I am saying this but in this regard League is better.
They skyrocket the smurfs to where they should be and when the account is inevitably sold to some shmuck they put it in losers queue and leave it to die.
This solves smurfs lingering in lower ranks for long and helps regular players get in their respective ranks faster.
Also the Ritualist rank is currently a cesspool of players of differing skill levels, turning the matchmaking into basically russian roulette of which team can get more skilled players.

Im at the same hours, once you break 1k hours it becomes insanely obvious that YOU have ZERO impact on the outcome of the game. I also got to the top of emissary, then it just forces you to lose infinitely, lets you win one or two, then more forced losses.
Its insanely obvious that the wins/losses are forced. Look at the player tracking stats as well, you can see very clearly the only "algorithm" they have in place, is to force people as close to 50/50 win/loss as possible.
The developers really do not care at all, the game is basically completely worthless at this point, just tons of smurfs. I used to get 1 or 2 out of 5 games that were anyones guess, now i get like literally 1 in 100 games where it feels balanced.

Yeah. And if you make a new account with 0 games in Deadlock you'll be put straight into Archon, win 3 matches and you go straight into Oracle.

its the same shit as it was 5 months ago where 80% of the players were in ritualist, but now with even more pathetic smurfs in every game.
Figure this shit out already it's been 2 years and almost every game is dogshit and completely unfun regardless of what side of the win or loss you're on.
