Bad Matchmaking Thread

Worst matchmaking I've had so far in this game: 50087446

A braindead Billy player combined in lane with one of the of the most disgustingly strong viscous players I've ever seen.

I was 8-1-8 by 15 minutes, and he STILL had more farm than me. His movement was insane throughout the entire game, he outfarmed and outdamaged everyone by a mile, and he consistently won fights against overwhelming advantages.

This was either a smurf, or an insane matchmaking mistake. It feels like the rank between the Billy and the viscous was averaged, creating a massive disparity in actual power versus what the matchmaker thought was reasonable.

I mean after almost 500 pages here of how badly MM works, how teams is unbalanced, how poor heroes balance between teams or how people playing not on their ranks or game is fully one side stomp - and nothing changed over this year and look never be, you should understand that this thread is just a trashcan to avoid posting this type of problems in other threads and devs didn't even check it at all. So posting here is mean literally nothing.

---
While this might be "confirmation bias", it's worth echoing posts like this where the "balancing" apparently at the moment is only done in regards of filling "insufficiencies",
E.G. stuffing a player with generally low amount of deaths into "fodder-ball"-teams.

Lately I personally been put into teams who practically refuse to kill troopers / lane creeps.
This latest match of mine being a very good highlight:
Match-ID: 50088761
https://statlocker.gg/match/50088761/summary

Me (Vyper) end up having almost one hundred (100) more lane creep / troopers kill-credited than the one with largest sun on the opposing team (243 vs Dynamo with 159).
The Seven in this match had the least, LEAST amount of lane creeps killed: 56! In a 47-minute match!!!

At 11-minute mark, Seven (in Amber Hand team) even outright ran away from lane creeps after having already ziplined to them on Green / Greenwich:
He just instantly jumped back to the hyperlane without even touching the ground, alongside the Troopers.

To top it all this (efficient) incompetency, this same Seven does a long minimum pause right at the end of the match.

With the last four (4) characters I'd still be in a winning team feels like playing some artificial difficulty setting:
Character-wins needed for Christmas-event being Vyper (3-attempts), Seven (6-attempts), Wraith (1-attempt), and Haze (not yet matched).

Rest of my matches listed:

EXPLAIN IT. No seriously explain it I want the devs to sit the fuck down and explain first how the
fuck this happened and second how in fucking world is this fun for anyone involved. EXPLAIN IT.
Because this matchmaking is a bad joke, wrapped in a shit, shove down someone's throat. One
"new" player is bad enough AND SHOULD NOT HAPPEN but 2, FUCKING 2!!! THIS GAME IS NOT FUN WITH LARGE SKILL GAPS.

Oh and no I don't usually play anywhere near these ranks.

And you know what's even more infuriating. It is the fact I know I got put on this team because I was winning matches. The enforcement of engagement is so disgustingly obvious when it comes to matchmaking at the moment, that I know for a fact Deadlock will go out of its way to deny players earning wins, multiple games in a row, while it will ether encourage and or just ignore about massive lose streaks.

The way the system is currently rigged makes games horrible to play before it even begins.

@Yoshi and the rest literally don't care. They are here to just try to make an esport game they can run down for money and then drop to make the next thing. It is clear. They don't care. Look at the forums, look at the discord. They can't even manage the community or stop 'porn post' etc. This thread is just a trash pile.

I don't agree with that. Making a game and or being a community manger in this or any economy is not the type of work you jump on, unless you enjoy what you are doing and care about your work. (I know from personal experience.) That said assuming there is intent for players to have fun and or at least test the game properly, an explanation behind the atrocious match making is needed as it negates both.

Valves success has nothing to do with Deadlock. Even if it turns into a massive hit it wouldn't even be 5% of their revenue.

Valve is hands off with regards to cheaters, smurfs, toxic players, racists, etc. None of their past games have been moderated.
