Valve don't care. Every Valve game is filled with cheaters and smurfs. Save yourself and do anything else with your time.

Pretty much. And literally everyone in discord will scream at your if you even mention smurfs or say the word cheater. They will all swear in 2 years and 1000s of hours they have never seen a cheater or smurf. The level of gaslighting it fucking nuts. Honestly, convinced almost, what is left of the community, are smurfs and hackers. There is no other explanation for the complete disregard by the community and valve of the issue. And the MM issues that have been ongoing since September 24' when they changed to some nut job AI bell curve system.

I'm trying to like Deadlock. I genuinely am. I really want this game to succeed.
However the matchmaking is unforgivably bad. As much as I want to play this game most games aren't fun. The matchmaking is terrible and the game is plagued with smurfs and cheaters.
Bad matchmaking will kill this game before it even releases properly. Cheaters and smurfs are already driving away new players. As much as I want this game to succeed I can't even justify regularly playing it right now.

I don't understand the decisions that allowed this game to happen
We were winning this match up until 30ish minute mark when the victor got so fed that he could single highhandedly dive into our team and win
First, why do you make a character that is awful until a match goes on for too long then becomes impossible to win against? That's not fun for anyone, the player who has to spend the majority of the game farming and the team that has to deal with them late game
Second, why the hell is the victor, an ascendant player, put up against me, a player who is arcanist? No wonder he ended up carrying the whole team
Third, again why are we a team of 6 solos going against a 5-stack?
3/4 of the games I played today were awful and that's 3 hours of my day just wasted. Please fix your matchmaking and game balance before the January update, or else tons of people will come back just to have a bad time and quit the game again

OCE matchmaking is downright horrific. i am pretty much always paired with/against people several ranks above and below me. it makes it impossible to figure out what i am doing wrong/right when the outcome of the match is determined almost entirely by matchmaking.

Entire team was full of Russians who would rather scream in the mic to each other or type in the chat in Russian despite trying to communicate in English to them entire match, with them or others running in to die 1v6, and in general a quite (pardon my french) fucking miserable experience on both my end and the rest of the team. No lane management, no pressure, only running in to die 1v6 when the enemy team moved in a permanent ball picking us off one by one. No calls, no-one listening to calls. Felt lost by draft already almost.

Has anyone else stumbled upon these people who start crying about others making calls and using comms in a match? I'm Emissary V, and I feel like in 1 out of 3 matches there is someone who does not make calls, answer to them or whatever, but then they start to whine and cry about others making them. Just telling to shut up or saying "We are not in a pro game" when I try to just ask if they wanna have a fight or to call target in fight.
Also I would like to know with what reason to report these people, because they literally go against teamplay by asking someone not to make calls or use comms. Fucking frustrating tbh. These people should not be in matches. Also it seems like they find their mic only to tell someone else not to use theirs. In a team game. Where comms are kinda the key.
And it's so cringe to see these people say it's "pro plays" to just call a target, say heros name in a fight. These are just basic things in any fucking game where you try to eliminate an enemy teams player.
Overall it frustrates that people don't say shit in matches, or even use pings but that's not as bad. But I think it needs to be reportable on its own if someone tells anyone to not use comms, and thinks it's a bad thing, or when they don't even answer to the person who tries to tie teamplay together.
I hope devs come up with an idea to encourage people to actually play as team in this game. Too many matches have these people crying or afk farmers who should have opened Diablo instead of a MOBA.
