Bad Matchmaking Thread

Not as bad as the last one, but still awful. Not evenly matched at all. Please, what is with these ranks? They say it's a close ranked match but it isn't EVERY time. This is completely messed up rankings, get me out of it. I stopped playing for like a year and come back and it's still the same rankings yet entirely new characters and setup and map but you didn't reset MMR or anything? Make it make sense.

IM BEING DRAGGED OUT OF EMISSARY BECAUSE I'M GETTING MATCHES WITH BRAIN DEAD TEAM MATES WHO ARE IN ARCANIST! I HOPE THIS GAME DIES BEFORE RELEASE.

if this thread is even glanced at anymore, i beg of you to matchmake players together with a higher priority on number of matches, i.e. players with 1600 matches should not ever have to be with players that have 6 matches total, in a ranked game.

it makes the entire gameplay experience worse for both players.

if they happen to be the same rank, then matchmake them in different pools for the same rank. arcanists with ~100 matches should be playing with arcanists that also have ~100 matches.

i guarantee newer players would also rather be playing with newer players.

i guarantee skilled players would rather be playing with players of similar skill level.

Low Alchemist drifter 3-18 had no idea how to play somehow in the same lobby as me and i almost have 2000 hours in the game. fun times!

pack it up, the games cooked. per character mmr does not work at all and is a horrible system. it needs to removed. you try a diff character and you get placed into the dregs with shit like this. the queues need to be seperated. additionally this haze is 100% a cheater or some god level smurf. i would gladly allow a kernel level anticheat/detection system on my pc for this game alone if it means shit like this doesnt happen any more.

on top of all that??? the match maker absolutley has no clue how to handle solo players at all. from what ive experienced, it feels like 3-4 wins are equal to 1 loss

why dont you guys postpone the next big patch until you figure out the matchmaker, since its the largest, glaring issue right now


this is the haze's tracklock:
100 games over a year and a half. clearly a smurf and/or cheater. dont know why this guy isnt auto banned the moment he opens the game based off his stats alone

(ritualist this match because of a low relative rank on holiday)

enemy players dc cuz power outage, billy has a tantrum the entire match and then does nothing

went way longer than necessary, me (pocket) and vyper top damage because our m1 carry (wraith) would not listen to any calls, i asked to go mid boss after getting picks like 6 times and she just kept running it down mid (if you can't beat em, join em, still a fun match but the macro was shit and i'm arcanist 6 but for some reason it says this is a seeker average match)

alchemist game, holliday and yamato fed so hard i couldn't even play the game as paige, what am i supposed to do here? ain't no saving a 4/10 holliday and a 3/16 yamato

edit: upon reflection most of my posting to the bad matchmaking thread comes from queuing after 11pm MST, it seems the fucking gremlins come out at night

yeah this haze is clearly cheating lol wtf he just dropped two 30 kill games in a row but still dies 10 times somehow, clearly a dogshit macro hacker
 
Out of last 9 games my team has lost 7.
lets just say the quality of teammates arent the best and as im losing these games it goes worse and worse..

Nice anti-cheat EU servers are just unplayable. Cheaters from Ukraine and Russia every 4th game. Been this way for months. Multiple gamebans/vac bans on their profile or just completely new accounts. You said you're going to be increasing how aggressive the anti-cheat is, so far I've seen none of this from playing the game. EU is your most important playerbase but it's completely unplayable due to not having geoblocked Russia and Ukraine.

Do not post matchids for games that were within the past 24 hours from this post. Games older than that are fine and games going forward are fine.

Dont have a bad experience but why there are so many retard white stacks when I queue solo. And they always report me for not carrying them and when I report them I got reported banned :)
