Bad Matchmaking Thread

Played with a friend recently on Deadlock and I saw our McGinnis was non-stop feeding. Honestly it was getting to a point where I was being a bit rude to them. Once we finished the game I decided to look into the account to see what was going on. I checked their steam profile. THEY HAD LITERALLY 3 HOURS IN THE GAME. WHY ARE WE PAIRED WITH A LITERAL NEWBIE??????????? I know that the skill distribution got shuffled around recently, but why in gods name is a newbie suddenly put in this type of match. Maybe it has to do with me being Ritualist V while my friend was still in Initiate 2 for some reason, but that is so jarring.

100k difference in souls, I think some of my team-mates weren't ranked properly as well as two people on the enemy team not being ranked high enough

Severely one sided. Nearly every game I've played since I've come back had been this way, including the game's that have been won. I cannot and will not recommend this game to anyone, and if they ask, I'll let them know Deadlock's dead, even before the game's released.

Repeated toxicity from one of the teammates, not to mention the server kept lagging in a weird way and in the end enemy ended up with over 40k more souls than us. It was a pure one-sided stomp for them, no matter how much one tried to do, there was no winning.

Another absolute stomp for the enemy team with a 40k lead, where it felt almost impossible to do anything to be able to win this game. They had our base before we got their walkers. Shiv absolutely dominated the game with no chance of countering, even with items to counter him.

Kelvin and Billy were always behind, never helping or just dying. Paige never helped and spent her time alone on the map. Billy was next to the walker in yellow, farming, while the enemy team took the yellow walker. Kelvin used the dome for himself.

Russian servers are INFESTED with cheaters. Usually ~3 per lobby. Encountering a 4-stack of cheaters is no longer a rarity for me, sadly. ;(

Paradox, Billy, Seven, Haze were clearly all extremely new to the game. I called out Seven should get gun buff, no one knew what I was talking about. I get that people are going to be new to this game but like... maybe match new people with new people.

I left for about a month and came back. Not sure if it's because the game hates people but matchmaking was very bad this time round.

3/4 was our team sitting turtled in base while having our shell ripped off by a blunted spoon.

87K soul difference with 2 people on my team going 0-7 and 1 going 0-14. the other 2 teammates, had 10 and 8 deaths with 2 kills. in this entire game, i'm 7/4/2 and able to kill both their carries with relative ease. the game ended because i stopped 1v6ing. couldn't have had less fun if i tried.
