Bad Matchmaking Thread

I understand that the game is in active development, and I really enjoy playing and providing feedback. I believe that this game is going to be as big as LoL/DoTA. That being said, I desperately hope that we get an MMR reset when the game officially launches, if not sooner.

I hope that something will be done to address team composition/matchmaking.
Team #1: McGinnis(me), Billy, Mina, Calico, Victor, Viscous
Vs.
Team #2 Grey Talon, Infernus, Drifter, Lash, Ivy, Wraith

Team #1 is ahead and in control for most of the game, but at a certain point, Team #2 has the top tier carries and it truly felt like the loss was because of a team comp. diff. rather than a skill diff.

Again, just a team with no S-Tier carries vs. a team with 2-3 of them. Didn't help that our Victor was uncooperative and doing their own thing majority of the match. But want to provide another example where it feels like one team has a crazy amount of high damage potential and the other doesn't.

I know gun McGinnis has been more en vogue lately, but I have only ever played McGinnis as Spirit/Turrets/Ult/Support. I wonder how matchmaking treats characters like McGinnis and Ivy that can build into different archtypes.

Every video is full of these. Everyone saying that when they lose it's because one or two useless fucks go 10+ deaths. How are you unable to fix this? I climbed to Emissary lobbies and I'm slapped back down to fucking Alchemist lobbies. I start climbing and getting to Ritualist and I'm slapped down to Arcanist 2 now. How is MM "Fair and Balanced" if I'm losing fucking 6 games in a row before MM shows mercy and give me a boring stomp win.



What happened here that made MM hate my fucking guts. Something was changed on the last balance patch and my MM has been dogshit ever since.



I don't see how MM is "Working" when any kind of upwards trend is met with a minimum 4 game loss streak.

Don't even get me started with the bullshit "The older the account the more SURE the algorithm is." On my other fresh account I have quickly climbed to Emissary and am still climbing. But for some reason my main account is just stuck in Arcanist because the MM is "Sure" I should be there. I don't want to log into another account all the fucking time to actually get good games. I want my main to be Emissary where it should be. Your MM is fucking trash.

you guys are so weird with your matchmaking i went from emissary going to archcanist iv because of poor matchmaking-- always got stomped with opponents because teammates are really low leveled skill like this viscous who has 18k souls comparing to the infernus who has 51k souls.

game is really not fun because of opponents always stomping and at least two teammates is so low skill leveled

Deadlock is unplayable. I'm uninstalling until a fix is implemented. When you fix matchmaking, please say something so I know I can come back to the game. Game has potential when matches are fair and balanced.

I'm tired of this balance: 4 losses, 2 wins, 4 losses, 2 wins. MM is bullshit; I'm doing everything I can, but my team isn't. Or the game is deliberately putting me in a weak position balance-wise, because for some reason I have to line up with an Arcanist against two Archons. I sincerely hope you give a bonus to whoever created this crap.



1. Dealing damage is not enough



2. 30 minutes of farming neutrals is better than playing with other players (I'm talking about Haze, who farmed up and knocked out all the towers through resistances in seconds)



3. Do whatever you want, but Lash Seven and Dynamo (and Calvin here too) can just press 4, and you sit in stun for 10 seconds, what's the big deal.


This is pure crap, you try hard, but the game is deliberately putting you at a loss.
