Bad Matchmaking Thread

It's not the first time this has happened; it's very common to join unbalanced teams where our team ends up with a negative score while the enemy doesn't. It feels very unbalanced, even with Extra Competitive mode activated. (I'm not sure if this mode is enabled by default, but it seems like you're matched with new players or those at completely different skill levels.)

I'll try to collect many Match IDs during the day to post them after 24 hours have passed.

Infernus had wallhacks and Haze probably had something too.
They were both 12k before the 12 minute mark and didn't miss 90% of the denies.
This was a low rank game and I thought we just had bad luck but the Infernus ahs less than 70 hours and the Haze has a VAC ban.

Matchmaking's so bad. literally made me play EVERY SINGLE RANK already. no consistent game whatsover. is it literally always gonna be like this cause jesus christ, this shit needs to be fixed.

Two of them being comparable to "Alchemist"-players, two "major ranks" above Initiate, according to (Performance Points) valuation of Statlocker.
Rest of the "pubstomb"-stack are "Seekers" primarily having often been playing in Alchemist-lobbies (according to match-history).

(( Reminder: This is not the "official"-rank, especially since currently Valve only take wins into account when readjusting the ranking. ))

This stack was matched against a team of (primarily) solo-players.
And this team (Amber Hand) by average has almost less than one-hundred (100) matches.

Been a while since I for one have seen an "ego-fodder"-match of this caliber.

in the middle of the game i (doorman) got hit with a horrible lag spike and my internet nearly stopped functioning entirely. i tried to reconnect 6 times but i couldn't stay in the game for more than 5 seconds before i would get frozen in place and get disconnected. now i am in low priority queue because of this. PLEASE revert this. i've already done 6 low priority wins before and this is just fucking unfair.

I got cancelled from reporting for reporting teammates like this; but these types of players like holliday and infernus just keep ending up in my games huh? My reports don't do anything other than get my report capacity banned. Remarkable system.

The Abrahms was a bot and didnt respond to anything until we paused the game. At a point it was walking up/down guardian steps and its focus was at the wall.

The Paige left early to grief.

At over 1000hrs I shouldnt be playing with bots and newb trash.

Its absolutely beyond time to start doing matchmaking based on individual performance and not team wins/losses.

If you are too stupid to come up with a basic set of metrics to differentiate a helpful player from a non-helpful then why are you still bothering with development?

And also the stuck running animation is still there from time to time. How about fix your problems and put the improvements on hold for a bit.
