hey @Yoshi. next big update, matchmaking rework ya!? you already did the map, shop, characters. Next is the matchmaking okay! Personally, i think your matchmaking is alright for dogshit standards. for high standards, you guys must be on drugs. How is it that i find the same dogshit teammates and i reported for matchmaking issue, and then you get me in the same game as them the next! of course ritualist vs archon b2b which is 2 ranks apart.

Because of your high class tier matchmaking, you guys helped me lose more braincells than a flying monkey. I have to play Haze everytime because i want to try and win but you keep giving us these dogshit matchmakings. I hope you ban me because im gonna buy 5 accounts and deploy hacks just to ruin your game. :D

he wont fix it, trash matchmakin is a core ideology of valve. they make their games only for 2 types of players: for noobs, to make them win without any efforts (by placing them with stronger players in one team), and for pro-players, who wont play casual solo mm. ive got already 10 games losestreak, cought with those, who are feeding, solo pushing backdoors, making trash builds, dont understand macro in EACH game, and ve made a count: the amount of my losses and victories for the last 1-2 weeks are the same. screen my words, after game will be finally released, nothing will be changed
 
Use this thread to share matchids for games that you think the matchmaker did a bad job at. If you can explain what you felt was a problem in it that would be helpful as well.

Do not post matchids for games that were within the past 24 hours from this post. Games older than that are fine and games going forward are fine.

Just refer to all my games. The MM system is absolute TRASH. It actually feels completely random, barely checks for rank, total games, W/L and everything else. EVERY game I play is completely mismatched.

The enemy team had 1.5x the souls my team had at the 15-minute mark. We were around 100k, and they were around 150k. This was although we had taken the green guardian down. However, somehow the other lanes managed to lose their walkers around the 12-15 minute mark, even though I managed to keep 2 enemies in the green lane.
 
36546440 - 0 communication from team. Team has no idea what objectives are, multiple players just afk until they aggro on someone and hold w until they die. Maybe actual bot accounts

36547046 - some combined 0-50 deaths on the team. Not even sure how it was humanly possibly for them to die so much, must be bots. Actually, some of these accounts are brand new, explains why they look like they've never touched the game before. Not sure why they are placed near archon.

Jesus christ man, you do realize this is just a video game, right? And one that's super early in development? Hope you get the help you need, amigo.
 
The matchmaking currently feels like it ping pongs you with certain types of teammates. One game you'll stomp, the next you'll be stomped etc. Only sometimes do I get a game where it's even but then it's down to the blind draft and who's abilities work best against others'.

Generally I play about the same every game (as a typical dynamo spammer does) but the variation in teammates is unfortunate. Communication is the main downfall of a lot of these losses or people who can't speak the same language.

The games I won all had people who communicated with microphone and knew when to play safe etc.
The games I lost all had people who spoke different languages and/or refused to play as a team/communicate which is very frustrating.

The game is still fun and we're in early alpha, but these are the main notes I take away from my games.

(There's also massive swings in ranks at times. I'm basically stuck at ritualist 6 but pingpong average rank from ritualist 1/2 to emissary 5ish. Since these are average ransk you are bound to get people much lower and much higher than the ranks displayed.)

Another team that only cares about playing deathmatch. I'm sorry to say but I'm starting to think that the game design is flawed to cause this behavior. 36566792

Maybe you could add queue preferences for people who only want to play deathmatch? Just remove all the objectives and let people deathmatch until the kill count reaches 50 or something. Although, if you did that, I have the suspicion that there won't be enough players who actually care about objectives, and the MOBA factor will die.

supposedly similar ranks, but the fact that only a third of the enemies had +10k damage alongside a 20 minute match makes me think something has gone wrong here.
