Bad Matchmaking Thread

It put me and my friends(infernus and abrams), who are all on the east coast of the USA, in an EU match. None of us were using a vpn, and we all had ping over 100 the entire match. It was impossible to secure souls in lane because we were lagging so behind the entire match from the ping. It also queued us into more than a division above our ranks(average archon). Don't understand how this happens, and it has been happening more and more. So frustrating.

One sided stomp per usual, alongside a farmed up enemy team + pocket, very little communication, though that's probably because our Vindicta was being a little bitch who kept being toxic to people in VC and barely made any of us actually wanna communicate

34929669, you might want to have better matchmaking with this game. Or start assessing characters' risk vs reward. It's actually so bad when quick cast is better than anything else right now.

Because at this point, it's killing the enjoyment of this game, alongside Stunlock, the game. If you don't want to fix it, that's fine with us, but at least be transparent about it so that people don't have to waste their time on this game when it seems like nothing is going to change.
please feel free to rename your "matchmaker" to STOMP-MAKER, what i see i no match-maker.
how is your logic designed? how can the logic create such a game? 0 support heroes on one side! ABS. 0 support heroes!!!! how is that possible?

mmr = 3000 - some arb. mmr number.
pick(count=2, selected_class=support, play_stype=support, range-low=2500, range-high=3500)
pick(count=4, selected_class=any_but_support, play_style=carry, range-low=2500, range-high=3500)
you can play with range-low/high if matchmaker timing keeps going up with some time function - i hope you know and learnt such things in school @Yoshi (5th grade maybe?)
feel free to guess who won this stomp that your "nobble prize" winner logic made))
run some algorithm to analyze the games so you can find the player's game style, if they spend a lot of time:
1. farming, building damage items, etc = carry
2. healing, bulding support items = support
you can categorize everyone who go mixed, as mixed and select 1-2 as mixed not more since they disbalance the games.

Not certain this is a matchmaking issue as much as a ranking system issue,
Match id 34939861, game was on average a couple ranks below my rank, and after playing through 35 minutes of match pretty much carrying a 4v6 as Abrams (Holliday was in game for a total of 7 minutes between 10 mins and 20 mins, and vindicta left 20 minutes in too), the game decided to derank me down a rank which I feel is hardly fair? It's not a big deal, of course, but figured I'd send some feedback still.

Double sniper and complete CC/shutdown on the other team. How is this fucking fun? No wonder your playerbase has shrunk when you promote Epsteinesque cancer team comps that have zero counterplay because there's just too much to have to counter.dash_javen

At this point I ho longer understand why do I even bother posting anything here, since absolute ZERO changes were made on this pathetically horrible matchmaking system.
The devs tried to silence us when they pushed one update to have "at least one frontliner" in the team comp. Look at this screenshot again. Who is the frontliner? Why do they have at least 3 or 4 extremely effective disablers, and our team are just, there? The Shiv in my team was spam clicking me non-stop, took me to report him to find out that I have already reported him before?
Here comes another same question: What's the point of any sort of reports when no actions were taken? The worst part is that even after muting him, I can still here the pinging coming non-stop. I sure hope that the devs are really putting a lot of effort in preparing a big update that could change everything, if not, I don't see the point of having so much hope in this game anymore.
Being early in development is not a good excuse to have the game rot in this terrible state.

New update, same game. @Yoshi i took a hiatus from posting on deadlock for a few weeks. You are still incompetent in trying to make the game. Good job. I took game development and i was taught to prioritise the players first. What are you priotising? cool stuff? fix your matchmaking for god's sake. Ritualist 4 vs ascendant 5. 5 ranks apart. Goodjob. Boring ass game.

34977576 This new patch is atrocious. Why didn't you nerf Shiv's cooldown reset for killing blow if you were going to nerf Ethereal Shift? Now Shiv is way too strong. @Yoshi, please let someone else who has way better foresight take control of the balance of the game. Nerfing counter items without addressing the main problems that these items were meant to counter means that these games are going to be unbearable if we can't play the game.
