'Already joined' but still can't play

My friend played the game before using family sharing with my account, and now when I try to send the access to my friend, it says that she has "Already Joined".
That way we can't play together because she gets kicked everytime i'm in the game, how can we fix this?

Family sharing lets your family members use your games. It doesn't give you two games.

Try removing\e them from your family and then invite their steam account.
