Abrams with Express shot/splitshot/armor piercing rounds

Its seriously Overtuned or bugged when combo'd with split shot and armor piercing rounds.


Seen it 3 nights in a row now just 1 shoting players and destroying games to the point everyone doesn't know what to do in the game.

I don't think the armor piercing rounds does anything special besides let you ignore bullet res

I don't think there is a bug, as far as my testing in test lobby goes

I think it's just phantom strike --> punch --> express shot hit = tons of dmg in one combo

it has bagged interaction with splitshot so you like shoot 5 times in one LMB

Express shot is a red herring for this, the interaction is with armor piercing rounds proccing on a split shot. A split shot isn't supposed to hit a hero more than once. Armor piercing rounds proc causes split shot to overwrite this restriction and all 5 split shots will hit for full damage.

EDIT: Can't get this to occur on anything besides Abrams, for what it is worth. Not sure if this can apply to any other character and I'm not exactly going to test them all.
