If Apollo’s second recast of Flawless Advance takes longer than the 8-second recast timer, the spell will go on cooldown, preventing him from performing the third cast of Flawless Advance.
In my opinion, the recast timer should reset regardless of how long the animation takes, allowing another recast of Flawless Advance.
If Drifter casts Stalker’s Mark and attempts to recast the ability, but the cast animation takes longer than the recast timer, the recast gets canceled and Drifter does not teleport behind the target.

In my opinion, Drifter should still teleport behind the target if the recast is triggered at the very end (e.g., 0.1 seconds before the timer expires), regardless of how long the animation takes—unless the ability is interrupted by effects such as stuns or other forms of crowd control.
Additionally, if this behavior is intended, I would like to see a visible countdown timer (e.g., showing 0.3s or 0.1s remaining) next to the recast bar. This would make timing the ability much clearer and improve overall usability.
