3 unique Melee items

unique ideas but personally im not a fan of them. spirit merger feels too much like an anti-fun item, and the other two feel too weak. it'd be a waste of an item slot to pause stamina regen for a duration when i could buy slowing hex and apply it a lot more extensively instead.

Merger feels very unique. I would bump up the cooldown, increase the duration, and make it so you can still use active items like knockdown on them. Otherwise, you can just ignore them entirely and shoot the rest of the team.

The idea of "incredibly weird niche supportive melee" playstyle sounds incredibly cool.

Spirit Merger is most interesting of them. Item that lets you to "disable" enemy will be useful against annoying/overfed players.

In my opinion, Open Palm should be an active item. Cool defensive item, but could be unusable in melee builds, since you can't control when you push enemy away. Also cooldown is too low.

Pressure Point is OP. For so tiny price you're able to prevent enemy from escaping. Add on top Superior Duration and Transcendent Cooldown to make it more powerful. It's definitely must be tuned.

These items are really cool. The game totally needs some expansion to melee.

As the others have said spirit merger is a really cool idea.

Open Palm is interesting but it's more of a support item than for melee builds as it would kinda ruin the match for you if you're going for DPS.

Pressure point is too powerful tho, T1 with such a movement disable is OP.

Thanks! The idea for open palm is that melee builds wouldn't get it. It's a "get away from me" tool much more than a "hit hard" tool.
