You know how speedy things goes in, speedy thing comes out? Well, that's not the case for Yamato's grapple anymore. Now it doesn't keep any momentum on cancel and is just boring.
Yamato used to be able to cancel her Flying Strike ability during the grapple flight and preserve her momentum, which can either be used to quickly escape a fight or reach another target. It was a really satisfying and skillful mechanic that was a core gameplay of Yamato.
Not sure (I'm not Yamato player to consistently to pull it off). But also I noticed that sometimes you get blink back with this skill if you cancel it.
Also, not Yamato related, but can you do something about Shiv 2 and walls please?
Better but not quite.
There's still a huge delay on startup that seems to be random/inconsistent, it will vary for whatever reason.
With the recent ult nerf it can often take half your ult timer or more to hook a target.
Definitely much better than last night. I do feel it's not exactly the same and it's a tad less 'fluid', but it is completely workable. Thank you for working to change it back.
