I recorded this video below with three examples. Spiritual Overflow with normal firing (m1). It builds up in 3 shots as expected with 39% buildup per shot.
The second example is with alt fires without Express Shot. This also works correctly and builds up with 3 shots.
The third example I bought Express Shot.
Here it takes 5 shots, including the express shot projectiles. It seems to completely ignore the first two projectiles from the alt fire. This also applies to toxic bullets, inhibitor, slowing bullets and silencer. When using the normal m1 fire the Express Shot shots do count towards the buildup.
