Express Shot Skyrockets Shotgun Buildup on Toxic Bullets/Silencer/Slowing Bullets

It seems like any shotgun that triggers Express Shots has each pellet counted for the full value of the "Buildup per Shot" listed on each item, which is normally divided across all pellets. This causes shotgun characters using Express Shot to apply these items in only one shot, excluding Mo and Krill who need two shots to do so.

First video is a demonstration of this bug with several shotgun characters. Certain shots are fired to purposefully miss some of the pellets and show the buildup being much higher than it should be.

The second video is a short demonstration of Slowing Bullets being affected by this as well, because I forgot they were changed to be built up per shot when recording the first video.
