Why did some players get banned for nothing?

I delved into the situation a little bit, and figured out why most players were blocked "for nothing". Recently, the community found the opportunity to change the character's FOV, which could give some advantages in the game (r_aspectratio) In turn (couple even streamers was usuing it) I was сurious and I decided to try using this command against bots (NOT RANKED, IT'S BOTS) and I got banned for the console command by anti-cheat. A couple of hours later, patch hotfix is released, and currently this command cannot be entered into the console.

Whose fault is it, VALVE who didn't provide for their disadvantages in the game, or mine? I still think it's VALVE's fault. The players were blocked for the console command xd, which does not even really give a strong advantage in the game and it's even didn't work, and the unban definitely not going to happen, valve does not care about the players. Well done, nice anti-cheat, very strong, good work Yoshi

It's a VALVE game, do not try to do anything with console commands which you didn't know.

Somehow I very much doubt that the only thing that you have ever done in Deadlock is to smash that console command and get an instant ban right away.

Cheaters dont get instantly banned, because their gameplay data is valuable, if you have cheated half a year ago, maybe you get a ban only today. Anyway cope cheater thread.
