Voice communication settings do not work

Trying to untick the allies voice does not mute your allies by default and the voice slider does not change their volume, forcing me to scramble to manually mute everyone at the start of the game.

Bump! Really want to make sure the voice settings work as intended. If it helps, I hear everyone in street brawl though I have allies and enemies muted. I only have party members voice unmuted.

Can confirm, here's a clip of me trying to lower my teammate's volumes.
I can't tell since when this has stopped working, but i know from memory that it's from at least since before REM came out
