Viscous - Teammate dying as Cubed

This is mainly for Viscous but could apply to more team casting abilities.

Issue 1: No Refunds / Cube not protecting from damage

When you cube an ally just as they're about to die, it shows them cubed for a brief moment before The Cube disappears and they die. In this case, it would be nice if it at least refunded the ability. Really it seems strange that even in a match without ping The Cube does not prevent damage on the same frame it appears (in the screenshot below, they die the frame after.)

Issue 2: Lingering Cast Hitbox

Additionally, even after a teammate has died the green crosshair for casting to them remains for 1-2 frames. If you click to cube a teammate who is already dead, by the time The Cube finishes casting it will either do nothing and go on cooldown, or if a teammate is in cast range it will apply cube to them instead.
This means you can try to save a teammate and instead cube someone else who's on full health who you have not seen your cast crosshair on. Or, with no other teammates nearby, have your ability go on cooldown even though you casted it after they had died.

Here you can see the frame where Left Mouse Click was input. The player has already died (they have no healthbar, and in the upper-left corner a barely visible death message is fading into the killfeed). And yet, they still have an active cast hitbox (the green diamond).
