Vindicta snipe stack timing changed from 4s to 0.5s

Is this intended or a bug? There is no changelog or mention on the discord.

As seen in the video, I sniped the Geist but got no stack on my ult.

I played a few games with her today and noticed that I was not getting the stacks as easy as before. Wrote on the #Vindicta channel in the discord and others also noticed it.

Please confirm if this is a bug or intended bug.

Umm, uh surely that vindicta would feel very chilly flying up at that alititude with that.. attire on? I can image she probably feels more exposed than usual when flying up
 
Had a game with many instances of this occurring - posting evidence here as an example in case it's a bug that needs identifying

There were more "maybes" but these ones were all 100% within 4 seconds and gave no stack
 
This needs to be fixed 100%. Vin stack efficiency is terrible now. Assists use to be huge for her as you still got a stack if the health was low enough, now you just waste your ult or are forced to hold it until you can guarantee a kill for a stack. Vin should not be punished for using her ult to damage and help the team but receive no stack in return because the timer is so short.
 
Bumping as well. I've had several instances where I should've got stacks and haven't, with even a kill on a Drifter not counting towards a stack with a direct kill from Assassinate. Feels so weird.

And the thing is I play less because of that and I already had few games where If i had 2 stacks more, I should have in 15 min or 4-6 more in the late game I would kill few people (they run with less than 5-10%hp) and make outcome much diferent. Few games we could even won. (The rest hard to tell because of midgame but I would be much stronger).
I play only street brawl right now...
 
Need more eyes on this. This bug is ridiculously infuriating. Feels like we've been given a good thing and it was stolen back.

I doubt it was a shadow nerf, it has to be a bug. I think most people would agree that it was a healthy change and improved the experience of playing as Vindicta. If it was too strong, the numbers could have been toned down, but the grace period for stacks was a good idea.

Now, using her ultimate feels toxic for the Vindicta player. It feels bad to hit an opponent and not kill them immediately, and it feels bad to hold your ultimate for a killing blow and maybe missing your chance to do so. Continuing to play a match after a few of these moments, when you know you could have easily had a handful of stacks more than you do right now, is upsetting.

Terrible change/unintended bug. Please, for my sanity, let's fix this. Thanks.

Not sure this is the case but just something I noticed from watching this replay, every instance where you hit them with snipe and didnt get a stack you were also the one that got the kill with your primary fire, aside from the ivy assist which honestly was really close to 4 seconds so not sure on that one.
