On reddit, someone suggests that this is exploiting a hole in the invisible map border to walk on top of the skybox.

After testing it, I can specify that there is a hole in the skybox around here. Just stand against the wall, fly straight up and when you're at the height shown you're out of bounds.

Theres a hole in the skybox close to the amber hand church area, on the yellow lane.
You can climb on top of the skybox using things like majestic leap, magic carpet, ivy ult, pocket cloak, vindicta flight, etc.
You can shoot down the hole and throw abilities down on the "normal map".
