Using ALT+Upgrade-Key While Sliding Uses the Ability

I don't know if this is meant to be how it is but every time, I'm using CTRL to slide and then press Alt + Any Upgrade button 1-4 it just uses the ability instead of upgrading it. This means every time I'm mid slide I cannot hot key upgrade the ability. I've had this happen on viscous so many times same with dynamo so just wondering if this will be fixed or is it on purpose?

Upgrading an ability with ALT while holding CTRL casts the ability instead of upgrading it. (CTRL + ALT + 1234)
This doesn't happen if using TAB for upgrading. (CTRL + TAB + 1234)

I don't think it's on purpose, If I remember correctly ALT is the intended way to upgrade with, but TAB was added later as another way to upgrade them. I use TAB because of this and other past behaviours with ALT.

Now that I think of it... I should use TAB for a different bind just to see if it's the upgrade bind or the specific ALT key.
