Unable to find matches

Set to Asia servers. After playing with American friends, I am UNABLE to find matches through normal matchmaking, after waiting hours even.
Only one was found, and it put me in American server, despite being very much located in Asia lol

my guess is it is determined to put me in American servers for some reason, and isn't finding any matches because the ping isn't good? I dunno tho

are devs even aware? im literally up during the night to play ranked, and I cant find a SINGLE match...? been queueing since forever
